Visited the pub when I went to see my girlfriend and its an absolutely amazing place everyone is so friendly was made to feel welcome the atmosphere is amazing and staff are very welcome great choices of drinks and the music is brilliant, it's like a family and I felt part of it the first time I went in ,graig the landlord is a great guy and I would highly recommend if you are ever in Newport to go in and enjoy a drink and the atmosphere can't wait to go back again and again

This is the definition of a proper British pub. It's got the look, the smell, and the funny and awesome people that staff it!
The drinks here are great but even greater are the prices. Definitely worth a visit for one or two whilst watching some sport on the big TVs they have.

Absolutely brilliant little pub - landlords are amazing was here for a wedding reception and Craig and Tom are absolutely wonderful.
