Just had the best weekend ever here. Loads of things to do and see, masses of restaurants and bars and very close to the Peak and Lake District.
People here are the friendliest and most generous I've ever come across.
The city is a real mixture of the old and the new and there's so much to see and do, that you need a couple of weeks here to see everything.
We're definitely coming back.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from 12th May till 14th May and couldn't fault it . It was excellent value, very clean and had a very comfy large bed. The reception staff in particular were very friendly and very helpful, thanks to Margaret and Leila the management should be proud of you both.
The hotel was also in a great location for eating ,drinking and shopping, We will definitely visit Manchester again and stay in the same hotel

The main shopping zone right in the heart of Manchester City Centre which is always very busy. Has a bad reputation as known to the locals as 'Cracky Gardens' due to the amount of homeless people there are sleeping in doorways here. There is always plenty to see,particularly police activity and protest marches. This area boasts shops,cafes and restaurants and has Market Street Metro station nearby.

Cool park, very convenient junction from here and lots of cool establishments nearby. Piccadilly Gardens is the central hub of Manchester's public transport system. It has a major transport interchange offering easy access to a number of buses and trams to help make your journey to and from the city centre quick and easy. At Christmas there is a very cool fair and a lot of different events are often organised.

The real Christmas Market is located at Piccadilly Gardens. There are many booths of food and drink. One of the area is for live music and performance. It seems to me that the venue is not wide enough and the range of goods is not diversified for Christmas festivals.
